At the NCSFA’s 134th Annual Meeting and Annual Banquet the Board of Directors and membership honored a special award recipient. Jonathan Landen received the Firefighter of the Year award. Chief Landen currently serves on two departments, as Chief on Fountain and as a Firefighter on Farmville FD. It is said that he is always looking for ways to help his community and to unify the members of his departments.
On behalf of the Board of Directors and the membership of the North Carolina State Firefighters’ Association, congratulations to Chief Landen on being this year’s recipient of the 2021 NCSFA Firefighter of the Year Award.
