Inaugural Class Inducted into the Timothy L. Bradley Hall of Fame

The North Carolina State Firefighters’ Association inducted the inaugural class of the Timothy L. Bradley Hall of Fame during its 139th Annual Meeting, held last week at the South Atlantic FIRE RESCUE Expo in Raleigh.

The Hall of Fame recognizes individuals whose exceptional leadership, service, advocacy and commitment have made a lasting impact on North Carolina’s fire service. The members of the inaugural class represent generations of dedication to strengthening fire departments, supporting firefighters and advancing the fire service throughout North Carolina and beyond.

The 2026 Timothy L. Bradley Hall of Fame inductees are:

Together, these distinguished inductees have served as fire chiefs, instructors, mentors, advocates, association leaders, public officials and trusted partners to the fire service. Their collective contributions have helped advance firefighter training, health and safety, professional development, public policy, benefits and resources while inspiring generations of firefighters across the state.

Paul Miller and Captain Wilbert “Tramp” Dunn were unable to accept their awards in person during the presentation ceremony. The Association will work with both inductees to arrange an appropriate time to present their awards in the near future.
