Fire Service Legislative Day
MAY 3RD, 2023
MARK YOUR CALENDARS
Please mark your calendars for Wednesday, May 3rd, 2023. This will be the day when we bring firefighters and fire officers from across the State to meet with Legislators and promote our legislative requests. Are you interested in continued funding for Cancer? Are your interested in an increase in the Fire and Rescue Squad Workers Pension Fund benefit? The best way to insure success in achieving our legislative goals is for the fire service to show support. With more than 200 (hopefully) uniformed fire officers and firefighters walking the halls, the members of the General Assembly can visually see the support of their constituents in the fire service for the bills we requested. Want to do your part? Want to help insure these benefits? Then please plan to attend. The impact is impressive when we show our strength.
More information will follow on meeting places and directions. Lunch will be provided.
Please plan to attend and bring your fellow firefighters. It’s everyone’s job to contribute.
