The North Carolina State Firefighters’ Association swore in its 134th President, Chief Quentin Cash, on Saturday, August 14, 2021. Chief Cash was sworn in by his father, NCSFA’s 113th President, Chief Jeff Cash, making them the first ever father/son presidents the association has had in its 134 year history.
Chief Cash’s theme for the coming year is ‘Learning From the Past and the Present to Progress in the Future’. He looks forward to using his time to encourage mentoring and fostering a new generation of fire service leaders. He strongly believes … “it’s not about building your legacy for the people left at your organization. It should be about building up the people to make the organization the legacy.”
The 2021/2022 North Carolina State Firefighters’ Association Board of Directors was sworn in as well on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at the Annual Banquet. Your new board of directors for the coming year is:
