First Responders Service Team Charities is a non-profit that is supported by the North Carolina Society of Fire Rescue Instructors. The purpose for FRST Charities is to raise money to assist burn victims and their families with aftercare services provided by the UNC – NC Jaycee Burn Center and the Wake Forest Baptist Burn Center. The monies will be earmarked for aftercare services such as temporary housing if needed, medication and bandages, and counseling for the victims and family members amongst other needs.
Another agency that will be supported by our efforts will be the North Carolina Fallen Fighters Fund. We feel it is important to show the families of our fallen heroes that someone will be there for them in their time of need like the fallen had been there for other families during their time of need. It is important for us to remember that fire fighters put their lives at risk for us on a daily basis and this is our way of showing our support to their families.
