The North Carolina State Firefighters’ Association has the opportunity to present three awards each year during the opening ceremonies* of the South Atlantic FIRE RESCUE Expo. These awards are designed to recognize career achievements, acts of heroism, significant community, state, or national impact, and overall excellence within North Carolina’s fire service. They provide an opportunity to honor individuals who go above and beyond in service to others and make a lasting difference in our state’s fire service.

All nominations and supporting documentation must be submitted by May 1 using the online forms. Please note that only nominators of selected award recipients will be notified; individual notifications will not be sent to all nominators.
