TO ALL NC FIRE CHIEFS AND NCSFA MEMBERS:
As the annual business meeting of the Association approaches at #SAFRE2023 on August 9th – 12th in Raleigh, there are several items of information we need to share with you and your members. The NCSFA Board is recommending several changes to the NCSFA Bylaws. These will be voted on the morning of August 12th, at the Raleigh Convention Center in conjunction with our annual conference.
Below are links to the explanations of the recommended changes, including text from those sections with amendments. We are required to give 30 days’ notice of any submitted change to the bylaws and that notice has mailed out to each of our departments. Below you will also find a link to the current bylaws as they exist today. These changes are recommended by your NCSFA Board.
