Timothy Lynn Bradley Hall of Fame Award
Each nomination will be reviewed by a committee comprised of members of the NCSFA Board of Directors, and recipients of the Timothy Lynn Bradley Hall of Fame Award will be honored at the Annual Meeting during the South Atlantic FIRE RESCUE Expo in August each year.
Induction into the Hall of Fame recognizes individuals for their significant contributions to the fire service in North Carolina. Nominees should have made a meaningful impact on the state’s fire service at the local, regional, state level or at the national level. While nominees do not need to have served as firefighters or first responders, their contributions must reflect a lasting influence on North Carolina’s fire service community.
There is no limit to the number of inductees each year; however, each recipient must truly embody the prestige of this honor. If the committee determines that no nominee meets the criteria in a given year, the award will not be presented.
Nominee Criteria:
The Hall of Fame nominee must have made impactful and meaningful contributions to the North Carolina fire service at the local, regional, state, or national level. A demonstrated commitment to active participation in fire service efforts at these levels is preferred. Examples of such contributions may include impact in fire service, legislation, development of training programs, or the creation of influential fire service programs, organizations, or agencies.
