Fire Service Legislative Day 2021

Thank you to everyone who came out for the 2021 North Carolina Fire Service Legislative Day. Great things are accomplished when we come together and speak with one voice.

Over 150 North Carolina Firefighters came out on May 5, 2021 to Raleigh to meet with their Senators and Representatives.  The goal this year was to show support for the important issues facing the fire service in North Carolina.  Top priority this year was the Firefighters Fighting Cancer Act of 2021, HB 535.  Several other issues were on the table and heard in committees with firefighters present to show support. 

We had a great day in Raleigh and were represented well.  Thank you again to everyone who came out to support the important legislative agenda items of 2021 for the North Carolina Fire Service.
