It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce the passing of NCSFA Past President, Chief Glenn Jernigan. Chief Jernigan passed away on July 10, 2021.
Chief Jernigan was sworn in as NCSFA President in 1977 and has been a fixture in the North Carolina fire service for decades. His loss will be felt tremendously.
Visitation is Wednesday, July 14th at 2pm and the funeral will follow at 3pm, both at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mt. Olive, 1005 N. Church St, Mt. Olive, NC 28365. Immediately following the funeral services, Chief Jernigan will be transported to the graveside where the Last Call will be done.
Please keep Chief Jernigan’s family in your prayers during this difficult time.
