The Gateway Conference is a leadership forum for the fire and rescue service of North Carolina. On September 20, 2000, the leadership from 19 fire service organizations came together at the first Gateway conference to foster a consensus on key issues facing our industry and develop a vision for working towards those issues in a collective manner. Once a year this group comes together to re-evaluate those key issues and discuss any new ones that may have arisen.
